Resident Council is a group that meets monthly (see the Recreation calendar for meeting dates) and is made up of interested Residents.  It is an opportunity for Residents to provide input and feedback on various aspects of their daily lives - on menus, daily activities, bus outings, special events, etc.  The Resident Council sponsors special events and also fundraises to purchase items to improve the overall quality of life for Residents of Inglewood.  Staff or volunteers who work with the Resident Council are not members of the council; they provide support to it.

Recently, the Resident Council purchased a mirror for the Rehab Department, a flat screen TV for the Upper Lodge Lounge and a DVD player for the Manor Lounge. 

At present, the Resident Council is actively fundraising for a new bus for Inglewood. A bottle drive is ongoing, with many family members and staff bringing bottles to us weekly. The residents and recreation staff are going to the bottle depot weekly to sort the bottles.
