pleasant and comfortable. She was truly happy there. Sincerely, Mary

Dear Heather As you know my Mom, Dolly Salonen, was a resident of your
Special Care Unit until she passed away on February 11 of this year. Having
visited her regularly over the past two and a half years I have had time to
assess your Care Centre. The nursing staff I met consisting of Marlene,
Sonja, Jill, JoAnne and Sandi are a very caring group and they always had
time to talk to me and let me know how Mom was doing. All of them seemed to
enjoy they work they were doing and it showed in the way they treated the
residents. I have been in other care homes and I am aware that this is not
always the case. The atmosphere in the care unit was one of understanding
and kindness and it came through in those who looked after the residents
daily needs and the laundry and cleaning staff. Of those who looked after
Mom I was most impressed with Eva and Lily -- their gentle manner seemed to
work well. When I was looking for a home for my Mom, I saw many that I
would not even consider and Mom was in a private facility until I found
Inglewood. I believe it was an excellent choice and I am at peace knowing
Mom was given the best possible care in her last years. Please continue
to provide quality care for those in need. I will recommend Inglewood Care
Centre as the best possible choice for those who cannot continue living at
home. Sincerely, Lois Wergeland March, 2000

Inglewood Residents Council This late note is to thank you all for your
very generous donation to my Moms Park Bench. We are on the "bench
waiting list" and hope to hear by September. I will let your Council know
when and where the bench will be located as details become available.
Inglewood meant a great deal to my mom and I know how much she enjoyed
playing for her many friends there. Also, thank you for the tremendous
effort that was put forth for "Lady", (Inglewood adopted dog). I understand
she has been relocated to a more suitable situation for her. The number
of people from Inglewood who came to Moms service was very touching. Many of
our family found it comforting to see your bus and know that so many cared
that you needed a bus! All the best! Chris Alexander September 1999
