On November 18th, we had 12 volunteers complete the three day workshop on Palliative Care training. These volunteers will be available to provide companionship, practical help and support to our residents, who are in the last stages of life, and their families.

We were fortunate to have Maetel Grant lead our workshop. All participants would agree that the training was a superb experience, both on a personal and a practical level. Each of these volunteers had previous training –many with Maetel and the Palliative Care Unit at Lions Gate Hospital. Welcome to the following Palliative Care Volunteers:

Thanks to all those volunteers who helped with the Annual Bazaar by giving of their time an donations...Ruth, Vicky, Diane, Zohreh, Mary, Linda and Dave.  Thank you too to all of our family donors.  A number of our long-standing volunteers will be helping at our Open House on December 8th,. A special thank you to Lori and Jane, both of whom will be playing piano in the Upper and Lower terraces.

Something New At Inglewood Inglewood will be introducing a Direct Payment Option for making payment as early as February 2005. More detailed information will be forth coming in the new year.
