Food Hamper Advisory

food

The true spirit of Christmas is in the giving… and no where is it more needed that in the provision of food for needy families. For this reason, each year we place food hampers at Inglewood’s entrances. We ask that when you visit over the holiday season, you bring with you a non-perishable food item. The donations will be delivered to Harvest House on the North Shore in time for Christmas. Let’s make sure that everyone has something to celebrate.

We’re Asking You?

At the end of September Dietary Services will be conducting a resident satisfaction survey of the Terrace, Lodge and Manor to look at our meal service here at Inglewood. This two-page audit will be given to a representative number of residents on each unit to determine whether we are meeting quality standards in the areas of variety, taste, and service. We will report our findings…

SEASON'S GREETINGS

The Holiday season is a time when we take the time out of daily pressures to review all that is really important to us. We acknowledge our respect and admiration for your day to day energy and commitment. We appreciate the opportunity to know you, work with you and play along side you. We wish each of you a Safe and Happy Holiday and thank you for being a part of our teams…

From Staff & Management of Inglewood Care Centre.

Inglewood Residents Council Update...

Our mandate continues to ensure the quality of life for residents at Inglewood. We do this through advocacy and fundraising projects….

The current council has focused this years activities around environmental enhancement projects in the Lodge and Manor.

Two projects have already been implemented. On the second floor of the Lodge, Library shelves were purchased. Kitchen cabinetry was also a welcome addition to the Manor Activity Room.

And thanks to our persistence, the Lodge lounge will soon have a face lift. Our goal is a more user-friendly atmosphere –helped along with the expertise given by Teresa Bockhold, a community interior designer and Council Member’s daughter

The Inglewood Choir

Our first concert is scheduled for December 11th at the Open House. This will give Choir members an opportunity to perform in a more formal atmosphere.

The Residents Council has generously donated sashes for the Choir, adding to the formality and unity of the group.

The Choirs first performance that evening will be a 4:00 in the Manor and at 4:30 in the Lodge.

For family not able to attend our evening this early, we promise to take pictures for you!
