Inglewood Care Centre is part of the Provincial Long Term Care Program that authorizes all admissions, transfers, and discharges, except for the private pay resident.
All applications for admission are made to the
Continuing Care Consultant at the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (Telephone
#: 604-986-7111).
Inglewood Care Centre does not have the authority to admit on its own
initiative, except for private pay residents. Applicants will be determined if
they qualify for subsidized care by the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, and
then placed in the next available bed. Once a person is in another facility,
they do have a choice to be transferred to their preferred facility. Applicants
will be given 24 hours notice of admission to the facility. Every effort is made
to admit to Inglewood at a time that is convenient to both the family and
resident.
